Art Therapy

Learn art therapy using various media and techniques

through direct experience with experienced art therapists

Held on the first Wednesday of the month, 18:30-20:30.

The group is designed for people who want to learn more about art therapy from practising

art therapists and more about themselves, as well as to explore their creativity and imagination.

Participants will also be given information on art therapy training courses in Czech Republic, UK, USA

and elsewhere (including information on the British Association of Art Therapists, the American Art Therapy

Association and the Czech Art Therapy Association). The workshop takes place in Muddum Art Space,

where we have previously held successful art therapy workshops. All courses are in English. See here for map.

All attendees will be awarded a certificate of completion. Participants are expected to enrol for the

whole course as this is important for the creative group dynamics of the art therapy process.

Places are limited as we plan to keep the group small so book soon!

The previous workshop in this series was held October to December 2007 and was led

and run by the Czech art therapist, experiential educator, calligrapher, and graphic designer

Vladimir Halada. As well as running his own graphic studio VLHA design he is also organises

and leads self-realization courses with civic association DoNitra, based on modern

therapeutical methods of experiencal teaching, art-therapy,

music-therapy, dance-therapy, body works etc.
